Shitstorm in the Blogosphere

This is pretty funny just for being so damn ridiculous…

• Random blogger gets annoyed because a coffeeshop barista lectures him about his way of drinking coffee (iced espresso is bad mkay?) and blogs about it.
• Story (?) gets picked up by Metafilter and BoingBoing.
• Coffeeshop owner gets pissed off and writes open letter to blogger offering to kick him in the nuts.
• Consumerist posts about the whole affair as well. Oh and DCist too.

And most threads/blog posts with comments above are still going strong. :)) (except the murky coffee one cuz he won’t approve any the twit). As so many people have said all over said comments – “it’s only coffee” – but it’s very entertaining to see how people can get so passionate worked up about something so trivial.

(Incidentally I had coffee at the weekend cuz I had one of my caffeine headaches again and tho I still found it unpleasant, I didn’t think it quite so strongly repulsive as previously)

PS Oh and thanks to this I learnt what a ghetto latte is. :))

I’d also like to share with you my excitement at finally having found a Hanging Harry at Cissy Mo so the sausages are no more.

Finally I wish to declare that I received a letter from my mum, but I shall not say any more about that. I will reply in due course. And that’s all.
