Time for the Paris report – as usual!

For those not interested in the minutiae: it was a nice trip as always, tho the weather was often shit/rainy (but also two nice mornings for cycling). Sunday morning when my mum was gonna cycle with me, it rained. 🙁 And one hour before I was due to leave on Sunday it suddenly got really nice and sunny. Made it so much harder to leave, but it meant I got another nice hour of cycling done. 🙂 More »

Heh, this reminded me of how obsessed we used to be with Apple Mentos. Then totally didn’t care anymore. Tho I wouldn’t be adverse to trying fuji apple. Sounds fun.

OMG Placeeebo!!!!

I am sooooo excited!! Am currently sitting outside the venue with the other freaks, squiZZless for now, he’ll get here in about an hour.

It’s sunny, some of the freaks are playing Placebo, I have grapes, and in a few hours I’M GOING TO SEE BRIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back from road trip – ode to Norway

Have been for a day already but now there are pics. They will give you a pretty good idea of what we did and saw so I won’t need to write a proper entry. Let me add tho, as the pics don’t really get that across, that Norway is just so stunningly beautiful. I just love its landscapes, esp. the mountains, and generally the grey rock. And all that water! There’s just lakes and rivers everywhere, and there’s water seeping and dripping down mountains and rocks, there’s just so much of it. And the many different kinds of green, dark pine forests, lush deeply green pastures, drier green interspersed with yellow… and always those rocks.

Tomorrow I am going back to Brighton, which sucks. Brighton doesn’t, but having to go home does. As always, this trip was far too short. But in July I will have a Mon and a Jimmy! 😀 Which reminds me, tomorrow we must make plans.

For all your cuddling needs

Animals exist solely to be cuddled. Thus, only cuddlable animals are worthy animals. Examples of cuddlable animals are:

• cat
• dog
• guinea pig (generally rodents that are not too small to be squished by cuddling)
• horse
• sheep

 
Non-cuddlable animals may have a limited right to existence as a necessary part of the food chain for cuddlable animals. Example: fly > spider (ugh) > bird > cat. (I’m aware this food chain may be highly simplified or not entirely accurate)

A fluffpupp (pictured here) is a prime example of a cuddlable animal. Perfect size, high degree of fluffiness and appropriate willingness to be cuddled. Fluffpupps are available at Mon’s house. Well, one of them. 😀

As you know BEDA is over, so I am under no obligation to post, but I just thought I’d say hi and bye! I’m in Norway with my Mon and her dogs, and we’re leaving for the West coast in a few mins. Will be back in 2 days so most likely there’ll be a picture entry then. 😛

I haven’t even packed yet! Or cleaned the flat, cuz Alisdair and Caspar are coming here while I’m away. But I am tired and I like my bed. I’ll pack later (either middle of night or tomorrow morning) & maybe if I’m up for it I’ll also write another entry then. Tho that’s unlikely.

I have a feeling I can’t write anything nice before midnight so I, um, won’t even try. Got a few blog entry drafts tho so maybe one of them will make it tomorrow; and if not, well, whatever, they’re still here somewhere, in the myowndamn.biz WordPress or Hostgator MySQL archives.
