Home alone

They have gone to walk the dogs. I cannot walk dogs cuz I need to rest my foot. I did however go for a bike ride earlier, 14km, 40mins, which was very nice, if exhausting (uphill, downhill, uphill, downhill…), and Mon’s saddle is very uncomfortable (even worse than the one that came with my bike). Immobilized – README.TXT!

Ironic. So just after I wrote the post three below this one about how great everything was, my left foot turned into complete agony and I am now an invalid. I’d actually tripped before I wrote the entry, but it was still fine then. I lay on the couch for ages and getting up – oomph! So basically I’ve torn or twisted or God-knows-what something, so I’ve been home all day, in bed or on the couch, and I expect to be home in bed or on the couch tomorrow and Sunday as well.

When you’re immobilized you get mopey, so earlier I had a good cry about Michael again after re-reading the Maya Angelou poem. But it was a “good” cry. I am sad, but I am hopeful. And so I felt ready to finish or post those MJ entries I’d started during the bad days. One I’ve left as is, it’s just basically full of sadness, and the other one is “my MJ story” which was only two thirds written and I completed tonight.
