(about the US election). Just found this while watching old videos… uploading here cuz Youtube is a twat again. squiZZ about the US election (936KB wmv). That is all. 😀
Let me just blog this here, cuz tonight was the first time I’ve come across an REM update since the election – POSTCARD FROM THE DAY AFTER THE ELECTION (R.E.M. MySpace Blog).
This is significant cuz when I went to see them I was in one of my “he’s so not gonna win” phases. And they were quite certain he was. And during the concert I was all “oh man I wish I had your optimism!”
So reading this has got me all emotional again!!!! THEY WERE RIGHT, HE WON, WOOOOO!!!!! 😀
(forgive me. this morning I thought, sadly, that I can’t really get emotional about his win anymore. now I know I still can. 🙂 )

I write to you from pretty Paris. What a nice alliteration! I am sitting on a terrace on Ile St Louis, looking towards the Hôtel de Ville, and reading Newsweek’s special commemorative Obama edition. Obama’s pretty too, but in a different way than Paris. 😛
I have so far had a most pleasant time, but I shall write about that upon my return. Right now I just wanted to do a “here I am” entry (cuz I can, you know, having an iPhone ‘n’ all).
An arguing British couple just walked past. He was pretty loud. He kept saying “you did not…”, but I could not make out what she did not do.
Now I have ordered a Croque Madame. Maybe I will go back to gushing over Obama. Tho maybe I should not let him distract me from the beauty of Paris? I managed to get my mum to try the bikes btw! She was a bit hesitant at first you see, but I’ve won her over. She even said she’d exercise in Lux so she gets better next time.
And I’m not as sore as I was last time! 😀
I must come back soon. But to start with I have another day tomorrow. 🙂 Rejoice with me!

O hai! 😀 So as you can see I have a new theme on this here blog. I have a feeling a lot of people are going to dislike it, as it’s quite… bright and in-your-face.
