Just a few more oddities

I’ve sort of mentioned this on here before with Facebook (i.e. people in Lux knowing each other that you really wouldn’t expect). Like this:

Girl I used to go to high school with:
– knows girl I used to go to primary school with (this is not that surprising since they both lived in the same suburb at some point – tho high school girl moved there much later)
– knows my cousin – WTF?! (he’s like 6yrs younger, lived/lives somewhere completely different)

Random girl who’s the sister in law of one of the horse people:
– also knows girl I used to go to primary school with.

:)) This isn’t probably that extraordinary, I mean it is a small world, and an even smaller country, and I should stop getting hung up on Lux people all knowing each other.

Anyway. Re-reading that old entry I linked up there:

So now Realname has 28 friends and Clarissa has 26. Makes you think.

Well, now (roughly a year later):
Clarissa-on-Facebook has 42 friends.
Realname-on-Facebook has 93 friends.
This may have something to do with the fact that it’s easier to track down people by their real names than by some messageboard login. 😛 But also cuz online is more fractured and volatile? I’m pretty sure I’ve “met” more people online than I have in real life (but I also don’t care to know abot a lot of them. *lol*).

Oh and the weirdest thing!!! Quoting:

I went to bed really early last night (around 8ish) and had horrible nightmares yet again, about people being in my flat and me panicking. It was weird, dreaming I was in bed when I actually was in bed. Meh. I wish the nightmares would end.

Becaauuse…. last night I went to bed really early (8ish!), slept til midnight, was awake til 4.30am… and then had horrible nightmares about people being in my flat and me panicking!
Ok maybe it’s just confirmation bias but I thought it was worth mentioning anyway! 😀 Incidentally that entry was about a year ago (oh and hey, I still lived in the old flat then). And for the record, I don’t generally have too many nightmares these days.
