An update from Norway by Mon(key)

Hello, this is Mon updating for Wam. We are in Norway. Today is Sunday, and Wam has been here since Friday night. Jimmy is also here with us. Wam and Jimmy are watching CSI: NY and I’m not. I, I am updating the blog.

So, let me tell you a little bit about Wam’s visit to Norway so far. As I already said she arrived on Friday night, so not much was done that day apart from driving to Mon-place (we saw an elk on the way here, but it ran away when we tried to talk to it) to sleep. Well, Jimmy and Wam played with their Itoys for a bit before we slept.

On Saturday we did aboslutely nothing, which, as always, was great. Nothing = eat, sleep, watch TV/DVD, play videogames and be online. We did go out for dinner though, to the local Chinesefood restaurant, where we had: (no, you didn’t guess it) Pizza! It was good. And we gave them a tip. And they served it with a bottle of Ketchup. The pizza that is. The people on the table next to us who ordered Chinesefood also got a bottle of Ketchup. (FYI, we didn’t use Ketchup on the pizza, but it made us happy.)

Mon (me) is currently looking for a place to live, and yet again Wam and Jimmy came with me to look at a flat-thing (they also did two years ago). The place was okay, but the owners did not want my dogs there (even though the ad said “pets allowed”!), so I am still looking for a place to live. (I’m sure you’re interested.) What a complete waste of time that was. It was a very nice trip though. We drove for about 3 hours, and Wam read for me the whole time! The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson. She’s fucking amazing. I don’t usually swear, but she’s like… you know, a little person who sits inside your radio and reads an audio book except she’s a… real Wam who sits next to you and does the same thing!

We are leaving tomorrow morning. We are going to drive across Norway. Our first destination is Trollveggen. Apart from that we don’t have too many plans. We might look at some fjords or some other… Norwegian stuff. I don’t know. I just know we’ll be back on Friday. Back here at my place or back in Bærum at Jimmy’s place. We’ll see. And I am sure Wam will give you some Norwegian photos when we have returned. Yes.

I don’t have much more to say at the moment. Well I could have more to say, of course, but I need to pack some stuff for our trip, so I shall now wish you a good evening and a good week and a good night and generally a good life really. Ha det bra.
