DAVID TENNANT OBSESSION!!!

Okay, I have to get it out of my system, hopefully then I’ll calm down somewhat. *cough*

So David Tennant, yes? WHERE IS THIS SUDDENLY COMING FROM?! It’s not like I’ve only just discovered Doctor Who, I’ve seen every single episode, and yet…

Here’s what started it: Midnight. Which I watched some time last week. You can watch it on Youtube if you feel that way inclined. Why that one episode? I think (no, I know) it’s because the Doctor is all sad and scared and disillusioned at the end of it. SO VULNERABLE! 😡 *swoon* So that awakened my old mothering instincts, or something to that effect.

Now it has seemingly moved on from vulnerable Doctor to generic David Tennant obsession. OBSERVE THE CUTENESS! It’s kinda fun, and I’m trying to enjoy it, but it’s also so terribly all-consuming and rather disruptive. And probably annoying for everyone else (a fact I’m painfully aware of). The people sitting around me at work are already getting fed up of it, and people online no doubt will soon follow suit.

HE IS SO MOTHERFUCKING PERFECT! So I have him as a lock screen on my iPhone, and also as a background on my work computer, which leads to many skipped heartbeats when I minimize stuff, and I’ve actually been tempted to do all my work on my main monitor and leave the 2nd monitor free just so I can stare at him. But I might get a bollocking for that (since working on both monitors is considerably faster). *lol*

I’ve not been seriously obsessed with anyone since he-who-must-not-be-named, and not been obsessed with a celebrity since God-knows-when. So why am I complaining? I don’t know, it just feels like I have STUFF TO DO and shouldn’t really spend hours drooling over pics or watching old interviews and cooing over the adorable Scottish accent. I even went and bought a (pricey!) ticket for Much Ado About Nothing, despite my hatred of Shakespeare and the fact that I will most likely be well over him by July (and if I still go, this will no doubt rekindle my obsession and start the stupid cycle all over again)!

*sigh* Oh I dunno. I guess if this is the worst of my problems then I have nothing to worry about. There. Now I’ve spent 15mins writing about him and can put it all behind me.
