World politics by wall sticker

I believe I’ve mentioned before that I bought Habitat world/continents wall stickers and they were kinda crap and kept peeling off?

My original thought (and action) was: let’s use (superwide) sellotape to keep them stuck for now and think of a long term solution later. Of course once they stopped peeling off quite so dramatically the motivation to fix the underlying problem faded.

Soon enough I realized I’d probably never bother to find a long term solution cuz hey! They were no longer falling off! Nevermind if they looked hideous! I’d just apply more sellotape in more places!

And now it all makes sense: my makeshift half-arsed attempt at keeping the world/continents up on my wall is actually a brilliant metaphor for the state of the world in general!!! It is a work of art! It is meant to look shit!

Doesn’t get much more convenient than that.
