Which bat?

Category: Life & Me | 27 Comments | Posted 14:41

Hooray, and again my blog readers can help me make a decision... some of you may know I want a tattoo... some may know I want a bat... ok well here are some to choose from. Not saying I WILL get one of those, maybe I'll find the perfect one at some point. Anyway, here are two I've created or edited myself, and one I found online that I find really cute :P

I know the ones I coloured myself look a bit crap, but it's just to get the idea. I wanted the purple-black gradient. :-) Originally I wanted one like No1, but then I found that sideways look from No2 and I'm kinda tending towards that now. Tho I do like the first one too with its outlined body and stuff. *g*
Yeah so what do you think? *heehee*

First of all: don't have a tattoo.
Second: take #2.

First suggestion is not an option (unless I get scared again...)

Posted by: Clarissa at July 14, 2003 03:02 PM

Me likes second one. Purple IS nice but will hurt more.

Posted by: The BML at July 14, 2003 03:14 PM

MORE? Why???

Posted by: Clarissa at July 14, 2003 03:36 PM

First of all: Don't have a tattoo!
Second: Don't have a tattoo!
Third: Don't have a tattoo!

But out of this selection: Take the funny one (#3). On the other hand it doesn't matter, because in a few years they will all look the same: A spot of dirty green sludge.

@ Tobias. Sorry. I want a tattoo. Want a nosering too btw.
LOL tattoos don't turn into green sludge. They can be touched up anyway.
Yeah the funny one is cute, I like it too. On the other hand I wanna be dark and mysterious..

Posted by: Clarissa at July 14, 2003 04:01 PM

Yeah exactly what I think. Last one is SO kyoot (and is MJNI sig... well, used to be, so kyoot) but I prefer the second one for long lasting-ness.

Indeed. Colour hurts more. Well, it did for me, and it did for a LOT of other ppl I know too. But as always, it's all... y'know, personal. Colour is inserted deeper under the skin tho, they press down harder n stuff.

Posted by: The BML at July 14, 2003 04:18 PM

See it's funny cuz everyone SO FAR has told me that the outline hurts more cuz they put THAT deeper into the skin
Ah well I guess I'll have to find out. And yes @ longlastingness, but then again having any sort of bat might seem weird at 40 or 50. But I plan on remaining weird anyway so either should be ok

Posted by: Clarissa at July 14, 2003 04:24 PM

Outline DOES hurt, MUCH more. Than the filling of black-ness. But colour hurts more than filling of blackness too. The pain that the outline causes, and the pain that colour causes, are the same. I just meant colour filling is more painful than black filling.

OK, am having all black bat

Posted by: Clarissa at July 14, 2003 04:36 PM

Anything with more distinct shape?

No? Then the second one.

Posted by: Lo at July 14, 2003 05:19 PM

It's Lo!
Distinct shape? Like what?

Posted by: Clarissa at July 14, 2003 05:28 PM

Like less of body, more of wings (beautifully shaped) or something...maybe more details

Would be cute if not so scary (hehe):

Posted by: Lo at July 14, 2003 06:30 PM

LOL ah yes, that 2nd one I have in my collection. Thing is I don't want too much detail as indeed bats aren't the most beautiful animals if you look at them in detail.

eeek @ getting tattoo! pain! and loads of it. (get pierced, that doesnt hurt ) errm, i'll go with no 1, it's the coolest one, dark and lovely, last one is cuuuute, but looks a tad too much like a cartoon me thinks.

Posted by: karin at July 14, 2003 10:20 PM

Aaargh stop mentioning pain everyone, will ya?
You're the first one to vote for No1. Me likes too. But me likes all three. Which is big problem. :(
and yes, looks like cartoon. Is point

Posted by: Clarissa at July 14, 2003 10:48 PM

sowwy, no more painmentioning i'll get some more people to come vote for No 1, that should do it as cool as the 3rd one is, me just thought the first one is more you somehow. get all three. preferably not on the same place of your body tho' ps. i thought u wanted the Bacardi bat?

Posted by: karin at July 14, 2003 11:30 PM

Posted by: The BML at July 15, 2003 03:10 PM

I like the second one best! I love the purple

Posted by: Evelien at July 15, 2003 04:27 PM

I like the second one. The purples good, but i think maybe a little bit more detail would be nice. im looking for a bat tattoo aswell, but more of a celtic style one! wat dya think? The colour would fade more but it has to have purple..

Posted by: Nixi at September 13, 2003 04:28 PM

Celtic style bat?

Posted by: Clarissa at September 13, 2003 05:19 PM

I have a black bat, which is a mixture of the bicardi bat and the batman bat. I had it in totally black and am really happy with it. (Had it done about 5 years ago) Question: I am actually looking for info about tattoos i.e the meaning of them. Any suggestions?

Posted by: Catherine at October 6, 2003 04:44 PM

You mean originally?
Probably some tribal stuff

Posted by: Clarissa at October 6, 2003 07:55 PM
