Ze report de Paris - avec Placebo!

So I'm still at Mel's, and too lazy yet to go to Asda, so I shall write my Paris report...

So I said before I left that I wasn't too keen on going, but of course I am OH SO GLAD I went. One day soon I will sue Placebo for getting me so damn addicted to their concerts!!! The concert was divine as always (tho not as good as the Colmar one I admit - but that one was just perfection).

Queuing sucked cuz it was raining, and I was quite far back too (I got there at 16.45 and was like WOAH @ how many people were already there, hehe). I was kinda far back inside at first too, but as usual I managed to make my way forward during the first manic pushing and shoving. And as always I was in front of Brian of course (nothing else will do). And, well yeah. I dunno what it is about Placebo concerts... they're just complete bliss. *swoooon* Can't wait for December!!!!!! (sigh @ addiction)

So, the rest of Paris... the weather was kinda shit, it was drizzling most of the time, but I still did a lot of walking. I went to see 4 things:

Le boire et le manger à Lutèce (food & drink in Roman times Paris) - this was the thing we wanted to see last month & the place was closed off. It wasn't that interesting in the end. *lol*
Paintings/drawings by patients of St Anne hospital - free (and far out), this was very small but fun.
Drawings by Antoine de Saint Exupéry at the Musée de la Monnaie - also very fun, some of these were really cool, a bit like Tim Burton's stuff!
Architecture with/around water at the Espace Electra - I went there mainly cuz it's free and their stuff is often fun. It was ok, some cool buildings, some kinda boring.

And that was that. As I said I also walked around a lot, went to the Montparnasse Cemetery again, did some shopping... and that's it. It was only one day after all.

So I am now in London... the Pink tickets saga went on and on (I emailed again, Mel called them, I emailed again, then called...)... apparently they will now be at the box office. Let's hope so...

And now it's time for Asda!
