Hello

Tommy's working again.

The laptop you know. It was indeed the RAM. So now he's running on 256MB and a bit slow but he's still sexy as hell and making me smile just by being. I foresee tiring arguments with Kingston about replacing the memory (which comes with a lifetime guarantee as far as I recall) but let's not think about that now.

So let me talk about my stay in Mainz. Not because anyone cares, but because this is my blog so fuck you all. I was ill as mentioned in the previous entry, so I ended up dragging Katja and Tobias to A&E on Sunday (Easter) to make sure I wasn't dying. I think I scared them a little by semi-fainting on them on Saturday night.

I think I also generally annoyed them by
1. repeatedly falling asleep while watching films cuz I was so tired
2. wasting almost their whole Easter Sunday on hospital things
3. playing Sims 2 on GBA all the time (it was Tobias' own fault for showing me the game tho! :no)
4. not liking Monty Python
5. I'd say "by being me" but maybe I'm veering towards the paranoid now :|

So my "illness" ended up just being a stomach-colon-infection, probably due to some virus that was floating around according to the doctor. The reason it freaked me out was mainly because I've had stomach problems for years now (which have previously been diagnosed as "not a big deal"), and I ended up interpreting this as "sudden outbreak of old issues and now there is no way back and I will die." *lol* Reversely tho, it's kinda frightening how many of the symptoms of stomach infection I am well acquainted with, so perhaps I should look into it.

Anyway. Other than that I had fun in Mainz, we did the usual, watching DVDs, watching TV, playing games tho not so many I guess, and going shopping. They got me Tokio Hotel's latest single for Easter, and Bill is now all grown up and... different? *lol*

Yeah and now I'm in Luxembourg. I've arranged to meet lots of friends, I've already met some of them, I will meet some more of them, I am sorta revising and stuff, and that's it. Being here is weird and exhausting and confusing. But my laptop is sexy as hell.

People say...

Oh, get well soon. I hope your stomach thing is not too serious.

Hi J! *waving* (there's a smiley for it but I'm too lazy to go & get it on dialup). Stomach is better now so all's ok. And maybe I'll have it checked lol.

STOP SPAMMING HER DIARY YOU FREAKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: JarJar on Sun April 23, 2006 at 7:57

She needs the Blacklist Plugin, that's all.

Posted by: Michelle on Sun April 23, 2006 at 13:29

Cute Mon (will delete spam tho. and will rename comments file when I'm back on Bubbles, that should keep them away again for a while)

I have the blacklist plugin. But
1. you have to run it manually and
2. it never finds them all, even tho I used to update it regularly

Posted by: Clarissa on Sun April 23, 2006 at 13:30

It worked for me. And it caught them without me running it manually. I've never really had spam trouble on MT with the help of that plugin.

Posted by: Michelle on Sun April 23, 2006 at 14:18

Maybe you had a different one then. I have a fairly old version of MT too (2.6.4)

Posted by: Clarissa on Sun April 23, 2006 at 14:22

Awww, it's scary when you don't know what the hell is going on. :( Glad ur ok.

@ no pics. What do you mean not liking Monty Python? *gasp*

Posted by: Woods on Sun April 23, 2006 at 16:47

ooooh, tell me more about this plugin

Posted by: squiZZle on Sun April 23, 2006 at 18:11

If you need MT 2.661 I still have it. And probably I could pull out the plugin that runs with that version, too. But the real magic is updating your version.

Posted by: Michelle on Sun April 23, 2006 at 22:24

Aha @ updating. Hm yeah might be an idea! Does that still support multiple blogs tho? I am running 3 now... (hm nevermind, I shall mail you about this )

Posted by: Clarissa on Sun April 23, 2006 at 23:01

Yeah, 2.661 was the last version of MT that still did what it's supposed to do. Also the licence allows you to run several blogs and to use several authors etc.
