Paris quickie

Just realised I never wrote a travelog for my most recent Paris trip. This is unacceptable. The records must be complete!!!!

So the trip was 24-26 October, with mum, and we did the following:

Friday early train, walked around (with suitcase!) and bough kruidnoten, =)) then picked up mum.
Had lunch, wandered to Grand Palais (where mum saw Hokusai, she was underwhelmed). I walked back to hotel to charge phone & change into running gear.
Back to Grand Palais (lol) for Niki de Saint Phalle which was pretty great. But then it was dark so no run. Dinner at Osteria del Passe-Partout.

Saturday 10am Musée Marmottan for history of Impression Soleil Levant. Pretty cool. Then much cycling around, met mum near Opéra to watch “Paris Story”, film about… you guessed it. Also Lindt store OMG their white gianduja is the best thing in the world ever.
Then: bike, 10km run, bit of a rest, more bike. Bois de Vincennes! Then dinner at, er… Vagenende.

Sunday 8am 5k run. Then Durand-Ruel at Luxembourg (collector & arts dealer who helped Impressionists). Very nice. Animal close up photos on the Grilles du Luxembourg. Rest of the day (on own) spent cycling and sitting. :))
