Gimme that fucking Green Card already!!!
[Green Card Lottery] I feel like a whore.
I have yet again managed to apply just in time (I was saying to Antje just 2 days ago that I’d probably missed the deadline this year) - I dunno what reminded me of it just now but of course it’s a sign!!! (or not, as the case may be…)
This is also the first time I’ve applied with a UK contact address (new flat of course) because the previous 2 times I didn’t think I’d still be living in this flat by the time I might get a request for further info so I gave them my Lux address… so that too of course is a sign!!
Also I expect them to keep a record of people’s attempts so every time you try you get an extra point because it means that you’re not just doing this on a whim but you really wanna (which I do of course, I really wanna move to the US, no, totally!), so 3 being the magic number, this will be the one where they will accept me.
So there we go. I will let you know around August next year.
