Paris Paris, forever Paris
Oh hai it’s time for another Paris update isn’t it.
I don’t really have much to write since I didn’t do much, but not writing at all would just be wrong. I was there for four days again, but I only saw three exhibitions in total I think…
- I went to the Orangerie, where they have Monet’s Waterlilies.
- I saw some really odd pseudo-design exhib by…. can’t even remember the name.
- I went to the Centre Wallonnie-Bruxelles for “C’est la fôte à Bruxelles” with cartoons about the EU.
And then there were some failed attempts at the Musée d’Art Moderne, and the Sacré Coeur. Mostly this trip I walked around, cycled around, and lay around reading books and magazines, sleeping or being generally lazy. Which was very nice. There was Paris Plages, where they organise beach events along the Seine and have beach loungers, bean bags and so on. So I spent a lot of time there. I also went for late night cycles because Paris is particularly lovely at night. Watching the Tour de France final had sort of been the plan, but then the people annoyed me and I had a headache, so I went to the hotel instead.
And that was it. A very pleasant, if somewhat unspectacular, Paris trip. Pics on Flickr.
