I thought my Tommy had died!!!!!!!

It was very traumatic!
I got a blue screen of death while watching a video, and then just… nothing. He was still running, but not doing anything. Restarting/letting him rest didn’t help. So after a bit of “wah what will I do without him, I’ll never be able to fix him” I did the only thing I do know how to do on laptops, which is remove the RAM, one stick after another. And lo and behold, without the original 256MB Sony stick he ran again!
Soooo now I have a tiny spare Tommy memory stick (which I may turn into a necklace or something - so I can always carry a part of my Tommy around with me. and it’s nicely geeky too), and of course I had to buy a replacement for that, so got a nice 512MB Kingston stick, which will bump my Tommy from 756MB to 1GB RAM.
(which is the max he can do…). This way he also won’t feel to left out when my Bubbles gets his 2GB which I purchased the other day.
And yes I do have a life beyond computers. *lol* I’ve just booked a flight to Glasgow 17-20 August to go see my slore, so that’s my “August holiday” (you know I prefer to travel at least once a month… and Sept. will be NYC
). Apart from that I’ve mainly been sleeping, again/still, and also working on Jeff’s site, which I hate a little bit less now that there isn’t too much left to do and the most horrendous problems have been dealt with. I also go to work every day. That’s it. *lol*
