Despite the immensely exaggerated use of liquid eyeliner, you must add black eyeshadow. This achieves the "smokey look" used by Jamie Leigh (and by countless other women, in a more moderate way). This also has the advantage of being gentler on the skin than eyeliner (and easier to remove). Apply generously around the eye, slightly thickening the bottom line, and filling out about half of the lid. Don't forget the outside of the eyes: fill this triangle slightly below the eye.
