I have speakers!

Yes indeed I do. Freshly delivered. Was very fast and efficient. Especially for only £2.75. 😀 My Logitech webcam is happy to finally be sitting on a Logitech speaker. I wonder if my Logitech mouse feels lonely on the other side of the desk. Tho it does have the other Logitech speaker fairly close.

The subwoofer is fucking massive – of course it doesn’t fit on the desk as it is so I have to take it all apart and remove that middle shelf (which means turning it upside down, which means taking the computer and everything off it). And I have to do it very very very soon cuz I keep knocking my knees into it every time I sit down and I’m pretty sure my PC doesn’t like being jerked about – especially my already erratically whirring hard drive lol.

So that’ll give me something to do this afternoon. The other thing that needs doing is getting rid of all the junk. Did I mention the massive subwoofer? Well, it all came in a massive box, which was in another massive box, which was in a big bag… and of course much styrofoam… and the old speakers… so my room is a mess. 😀

I also need to go to the hairdresser at some point, but I might leave that ’til tomorrow. Adecco called – twice. First to tell me I only need to go in twice next week (Monday-Tuesday) cuz training wifey won’t be around for the rest of the week as she’s getting married. Yay! Not complaining. 😀 Then they called again one hour later to tell me I start at 10am on Monday and not at 9am. Woo! I love Amex already. 😡 :))

I had my blood test this morning – results will be in in a week, so I’ll find out then if I’m diabetic and how my liver and my thyroid are doing. Being diabetic would really suck cuz I have no self-discipline (and I love sweets), and my mum would of course use it as an opportunity to have a go at me for being fat and eating unhealthily.

Hm I wonder if I need a new / different sound card. The sound is better from my little Zen than from my PC. 😐 Maybe I should’ve replaced my sound card instead of my speakers. :)) I also suspect that my TV card may be fucking things up somewhat (muting its audio reduces static noise quite a bit) … but I can’t unplug that! I can’t! I need TV! *ahem* How things have changed. :wh I do have a sound card in my old PC (which currently serves as a table/shelf in the bathroom) so perhaps I’ll try putting that in. Hmph, more work? And my PC is soooo cluttered inside it’s a nightmare getting any work done. Cables everywhere! :((

Eeenyway. Now I shall enjoy my new sound experience for a little while longer, then I’ll unplug it all and do some DYI. *muahaha* Bet you’re jealous. Go on, admit it! *lol*
