I was out in the real world!

And I missed Big Brother because of it. Was much fun tho so it’s ok (and I’ve watched it since). Yeah cuz you know it was Ingmar’s leaving do. Loooaaads of people were there – loads of old ones, some that had left before me even: Daniel C, Nick, Nathan P and so on. Also Steve (ex manager), and most current helpdeskers, incl. new ones I didn’t know. It was very much fun, and quite useful too.

Alison (HR person) said she gave me a good reference for the Amex job and that disputes is good (that’s what the job would be). I also asked if they had an opening and she said they’d just filled Ingmar’s, and that I should have applied, and she was (fake-) offended that I hadn’t asked when I’d applied for Amex. *lol*

Funnily enough, at the beginning of the night Angela also told me I should’ve applied, then later on, when she was drunker, she said not to come back cuz it was a crap job anyway. :)) Ely also said “my God, don’t come back.” *lol*

There were lots of drunken antics – people measuring & comparing their inside legs and their chest sizes *lmao* and licking salt (with tequila) off each other’s necks. Also I had an interesting… um, conversation with Alison and Steve about who we would’ve shagged on the helpdesk. =)) I said I don’t do sex but if I did, Steve and Nick. Steve was well flattered. *lmao*

Sooo yeah it was definitely a good night out. 😀 I realised again that, well, there were/are really quite a lot of cool people working there. And that I’ve always been lucky with my co-workers. My Ann-Louise was ill so she wasn’t there, but I texted her and we shall meet up soon. Oh and I met Laure’s bf Alvin, who’s driving to Lux next week so he’ll take some stuff back for me. 😀

In other news… I am ill. Dunno who I caught it from but probably someone last night. See, meeting real people does have its drawbacks. Oh, and if you’re very bored, I’ve added two more questionnaires to my MySpace blog. I think that’s all.
