This weekend I have achieved…
… absolutely nothing. Well, I did do my laundry yesterday, and I went for lunch with Jeff today, but the rest of the time all I did was slouch about online (or on the phone) irrationally clinging to my WarmBreathingCreature™ – who, incidentally, will be here very soon so some real clinging can be done. Of the “never letting go” kind.
I just dropped a sewing needle into my keyboard. While trying to retrieve it I removed some keys and OMG – the gunk I discovered under there was quite… er…. disgusting? And now that I know the extent of it the keys suddenly feel all sticky too. :)) So I have the option either of.. er.. removing all the keys and cleaning under them… or just buying a new keyboard, and I think I may do the latter! 😀 They’re only £20 and the letters have come off on about half of the keys anyway and stuff.
So yeah. I think I’m also gonna get a new toilet seat, my current one has been broken for months and it’s kinda annoying – well I’m used to it, but my visitors are not. And there’s this store in the North Laine that used to have one that would go well with my shower curtain. I hope they still have it. I guess I’ll go check tomorrow, weather permitting. I got a tax return, did I say? 😀 From my time at IBM. Yay! Yeah so now I can afford toilet seats and keyboards again. :)) (gah these keys really are sticky)
Just got a phonecall from my mum, she’s in Vienna and having fabulous weather. It’s really rather dismal here. Where the fuck is summer dammit?!!?? :((
Three more days at work and then I’ll have a Charlie, whom I love very much. 😡 And I think with that I shall leave you, having run out of things to say and all. I considered writing another “childhood” entry earlier but then… didn’t. *lol*

Hehe, half of the letters on my keyboard have vanished, too. I dunno why I’m still looking at them while I’m typing, cuz there’s nothing to see anyway. LOL

I stopped doing that ages ago cuz my keyboards don’t tend to last very long.
Have started using this one now and I hate it very much tho. :)) The keys feel awful and the layout is kinda shit too. So I may well return it. 😐 This is it btw.
Oh, but yours looks cool. I always test the keyboards, because I do not want to have to press too hard. It’s got to have a soft feeling, and mine has that now. 😀
My current one feels very yum too. Very laptoppy, which is what I like so much about it. So I guess I’ll just clean it after all. :)) (it doesn’t seem to be available anymore)
