The hitting: Apparently (key word here) this lady paparazzi biatch was chasing Michael and Prince and getting all violent and wiggy, and Michael's bodyguards turned around and whopped her one. Not sure how it came about that MICHAEL was the one involved, since the article *I* read had that it was a tussle between the guards and the chick

Well, it's said that also MJ's hands were involved in the whole story. And I also think, these guards work for MJ. If he didn't want his guards to beat a woman he'd have to tell them to stop. As long as he doesn't tell them to stop it it's also his fault. My opinion. But in the end the guards will be held responsible for it, and not MJ.
