That's what it's all about.
(P!nk)
I've been spending a fortune lately. Obviously in/for Paris, but also since. Tho I have to say in my defence, all the stuff I've bought since was relatively cheap. Namely:
◦ My Own Private Idaho DVD (shit film. had wanted to see it for ages tho)
◦ Stacie Orrico album (she's cute, it was only £3, how could I not)
◦ Smetana's String quartets 1 & 2 (found at Oxfam)
◦ Janet's Design of a Decade (my old one's scratched)
◦ P!nk's new album (it's great!! much better than the previous one)
◦ Guns N Roses video clips DVD (hehe - it was £5!)
I also need Imogen Heap's albums, and Farin Urlaub's Am Ende der Sonne, cuz they're both great and I feel bad about only owning illegal mp3s. *snigger* And I need new speakers that fit my weird PC desk, and I need some dim lights for when I don't want... bright lights. Ja.
I got the new RAM for my Tommy the other day, I was sooo excited! (you might remember the old one broke) I love it when warranty procedures work easily and effortlessly. Now Tommy's fast again and even sexier. I'm gonna die if that laptop ever breaks. He's so amazing, he still fills me with pleasure every time I use him. *ahem* I guess if he breaks I'll have to buy this. *snigger*
I managed to fix my IE autocomplete problem last night, hooray. However, my IE also freezes a lot and I'm not sure what to do about it since you can't un- or re-install the damn thing. (please don't suggest using Firefox instead - I am aware of that option lol) Maybe I should do some research. But mostly I'm too lazy (I've had that autocomplete problem since my last Windows reinstall months ago & only bothered to fix it last night. granted, that's less inconvenient than the crashing)
Oh and I called my mum yesterday and learned that my father's now living in my flat. Yes myyyy flat. The one I was meant to inherit ever since I was like 3 or sth. Oh I can still inherit it, no problem, except my father will be living in it. So I pay the bills and he makes a mess. *lol* God I can't even express how much I hate him. So yeah it's all about the money yet again. Fuck him tho. FUCK!!!!! (haha, and I've still not written that entry about him...)
I spent about 2hrs earlier staring at blank(ish) screens trying to come up with a new layout for this damn thing. *sigh* To all the people who tell me I'm creative - no I'm not!!!! Perhaps I was at some point - I won't deny I've created stuff - but that's all past. Don't know what could bring it back. Perhaps I should start taking drugs (kidding!!). Or maybe I should pop out loads of babies - that would be an act of creation too.
Want some pics? (oh and for the record, I still use Paint Shop for this stuff. much quicker, easier, cleaner...)
[edit after some IE-troubleshooting-research] I hate Microsoft.

Agree with me that AXL is SEX. Yes? Good.
Posted by: snow on Mon May 29, 2006 at 1:19Ooooooh!
Materialism! You bought a lot of stuff. Why feel guilty about the illegal songs? The cover of Imogen Heap is pretty unexciting. You have taught me well!
And I like the blue shirt with the stars on it.
Posted by: jimmyboy on Mon May 29, 2006 at 3:01And you need Bela B.'s "Bingo".
Posted by: Tobias on Mon May 29, 2006 at 8:22I spent a fortune lately, too, but I sold a bunch of stuff to get the money I needed to buy the thing I wanted after my MP3-player died. I got me a cheap kind of iPod video thingy, 160x120 pixels sized. It rocks, watching movies on the tram, hehe.
BTW I solved my IE / Firefox problem somehow. I believe my WLAN driver was messing with my system, probably because the WLAN connection between my PC and the station wasn't stable enough and broke down from time to time. Now that I'm stable cable-surfing the problem is gone, yehaww. No WLAN for me anymore, thanx.
Posted by: Michelle on Mon May 29, 2006 at 10:33bad Jimmy.
Axl is ok.
Oh yeah damn @ Bela, is that already out? Is it any good?
Oh @ Michelle. Well I don't have WLAN on the desktop.
Posted by: Clarissa on Mon May 29, 2006 at 11:33Hmmm, then maybe it's another program confusing your IE? Probably you remember when it all started?
Posted by: Michelle on Mon May 29, 2006 at 11:36No, that's the thing. I can't remember installing anything new around the time it started. I considered doing a system restore but I've changed so much to the system since that I don't think I can be bothered.
I think I'll just deal with it til the final release of IE7 and then install that asap.
Ok....?
