I could just not say anything about how much I love them because it bores or annoys some of my readers. But fuck that. Jeff (the can man) asked me earlier what my website was about, and I said "mememe"! So I write about what I want. But you can skip the relevant part if you absolutely must.
[gushing about boys] They are indeed very marvellous and perfect, in an interestingly "gosh, aren't they marvellous and perfect" way. You know, like so:
Sitting on the pavement outside the Carling Academy in Birmingham. It is raining. I am wet, I am cold and I am bored. But wow, aren't these two people next to me marvellous and perfect?!
And there's two of them! And each of them is amazing in his very own way, but together they are exponentially more amazing! It's like this joke, I can't remember how it goes but it's something like "What's better than one blabla? - Two blablas!" That applies to PerfectBeings™ too. Yes I've registered the trademark. Move over God, the only PerfectBeings™ in this universe are Thomas & Alisdair. [/ gushing about boys]
So. My week-end. Yes. The slore has already written about going to see Mel on Saturday... I took some pics, only one turned out not-all-too-blurry. Isn't she cute? In a "typical Mel pose", as the slore pointed out.
After the show I went back to boys. Sunday we went to Birmingham. We queued outside for, um, 6 hours or something in the rain, sleet and snow, looking like right bums.
But oh, aren't they the most perfect bums...? Then we saw Placebo live. The fans were waaayyyy mad - a lot worse than at any recent shows (tho similar to the early Sleeping-with-Ghosts shows) so we kinda fled from the front pretty early on. Tomorrow we won't go that far forward. (means we won't have to queue either, hooray lol. God, I'm becoming a bad fan uh? )
Yeah and then we went back to London. And slept. And then I returned to Brighton. Oh I do love Brighton, I realize that every time I go to the City of Evil. London wasn't actually so bad this time, the people were bearable and public transport was nice to me (tho there were of course the usual annoying engineering works over the weekend, but when you have a PerfectBeing™ working out the itinerary you don't notice that so much). But even so, every time I sit on that train and the little display reads "This is the Southern service to Brighton" I get a nice warm feeling inside. Sounds silly I know, but it's also very great - still getting excited after all these years.
So I'm quite content right now. Tomorrow I'm seeing my amazing boys (and Placebo) again. Thinking of that puts a big stupid grin on my face. After tomorrow I won't see either for a longish time, so expect a gloomy and depressed Clarissa soon. But then at the week-end I'll see Katja and Tobias, that should put the grin back.
Weeeee.... I look great in that pic! You can't see my chunky legs! Weeeeeeeee (again).
Cute boys. But mine are too!

Say say say what you want
I don't think the train Brighton thing is silly! I used to feel the same way when I would take the Metro from Washington and I would get close to my stop. Nice feeling!

No. *g* I would NEVER queue for 6 hours. Not even if it was God (i.e. Bugs Bunny) in person waiting for me at the end (front?) of the queue.
