First off, check out squiZZupdate because it was written by me, and leave a comment to tickle my ego because he is marvellous.

Secondly, I love Placebo. Last night was very marvellous as always. Like, really very amazingly marvellous. I love Brian I love Brian I love Brian I love Brian. *sigh* He's so cute and small and beautiful and fabulous!!! :x :x :x We got autographs too but I didn't lovingly stare at him enough. But I did stare lovingly (with big stupid grin on my face) throughout most of the live show. In less than a month I can lovingly stare again, twice within a few days. :D And after that I will sue them for not putting a warning on their concert tickets that their shows may be addictive. :|

Right. And because I love London so so so much and have only been there twice this week I'm going again tomorrow to spend the weekend with The Twat and the Evilbitch. (that would be such a cool film title!!!)

PS I also love Michael Jackson!

Hey I saw that you're gonna come to Paris... it'd be cool to meet up (maybe i'll get to see the other two too?!) eventho' you guys are missing all the fun here: watercannons, rubberbullets and teargas. But no, i'm not on strike, i dont think Sciences-Po is much for striking eventho' they've taken part in some of the demonstrations

So, which date are you guys coming here, and how long are you staying for?

Posted by: Karin on Sun March 19, 2006 at 15:02

How freaky!!! I was gonna email you to ask about the demos, but I was gonna wait until I'm back in Brighton.

We'll be there around 20th May... that weekend plus a few extra days. I think.

Posted by: Clarissa on Sun March 19, 2006 at 15:11

yeah i know, i'm freaky
and ah okay. well, no hurry to set up a meeting just yet then
what do u wanna know? or did u just wanna see if i was out at the barricades? but yeah, it's a ball here, and i looooove the smell of teargas

Posted by: Karin on Sun March 19, 2006 at 20:09

not sure what I wanted to know, but since it's partly in the Quartier Latin and you live close I just.... thought you'd have a tale to tell.

indeed @ no hurry yet

>>because I love London so so so much

You almost sounded convincing then

Posted by: The BML on Sun March 19, 2006 at 23:27

No, no real experiences. Saw a guy getting dragged by the legs with his hand smashing against the pavement by the cops. Comfy. Smelled some teargas (nice, btw, did u know that it can cause spontaneous abortion, cancer etc?). There's cops swarming all over here... They're gonna hold a vote at Sciences-Po to see if ppl wanna join the strike (=close down all the buildings). I sure hope not. I'm very non-solidaric, i know (tbh i'm against the law, but still dont give a crap if it's implemented cuz it wont affect me, muhahaha ). Also there's talk of there being a general strike next week.
Gotta love the french culture...

Posted by: Karin on Tue March 21, 2006 at 12:15

How fun

lol @ non-solidaric - come on, it's part of being a student in France, you ought to join in just for the experience )

Nope, didn't know about spontaneous abortion.

seems like they're on their way to pass my house right this moment
and that was s'pposed to read head, not hand. hand wouldnt have been so bad
and no thanks at joining, i'm already on my knees w all work (it's ridiculous amounts, really!). besides, the whole notion of it is a bit ridiculous, this is basically the kids of the french elite who are out there marching. I hardly think the students of Sciences-Po and ENA etc have to worry about their futures.
Besides, I'll be over 26 when/if i finally get my master degree, and prolly wont be working here, so i dont give a fuck
But yeah, it is sorta exciting, tho its getting a bit old now...
