It seems most people don't know this!? Apparently I didn't tell anyone - well anyway, I am going to Paris this (bank holiday) weekend, with my mum. Well, I am going on my own, but meeting my mum there.
Was gonna make this a longer entry but can't be arsed.
Well, you can have my scary spider story, copied straight from Yahoo messenger. Apologies to those who've already heard it.
Last night I didn't sleep very well ja? and woke up often. and once it was cuz I had a nightmare with a spider that was after me. and then this morning I read the on the paper "Kemp Town poison spider attack" or sth! and I was quite shocked already (what a coincidence!) but thought it would be, like, someone's pet spider that had escaped or sth. but NO! turns out it was a bite from a small spider that actually LIVES in England and is the only poisonous spider here!!
The woman who was bitten lives two streets from here!! She had it on her temple and brushed it away in her half-sleep and then it probably bit in self-defence. It's really tiny (and died in the process of "being brushed away"). She had like convulsions and felt sick and drowsy, and then lost control over her limbs... her boyfriend took her to hospital where they gave her an antidote.
Some scientist about the spider: "...has been weaving its way from the west country through Dorset and has been making its way into Sussex in recent years"! [...] "It's the only one of Britain's 640 spider varieties which bites humans" ... " it's not uncommon in the South of Britain, especially along our coast."
[update] Katja provided link - still hate them tho of course [/update]
Fuck me! Poisonous spiders living in England. What next? Never knew that!

Sorry, ... I know this isn't funny if you have a spider-phobia but the circumstances (and the fact that you had premonitions in your dream) are rather funny
