I've been asked to update. Repeatedly. I'm not very good at this. I've had various thoughts and ideas whirling around my head for a while, each of which could be turned into a full entry if I had the necessary energy and attention span, but I don't, so they won't. My mind has been frighteningly volative these past few... I wish I could say weeks but I guess it's more like months or even years. So instead you will get a... well I'm not sure what you will get just yet. We'll see eh. You'll get a bit of everything.

I am currently Queen-obsessed. I doubt anyone will be interested but oooooh they are so marvellous, and listening to their old tunes I am taken right back into the past. Who can resist You Take My Breath Away and Death on Two Legs??? And of course countless others. Anyway. Queen :x

Ah yes. Work. I've had my 3 month review. Probationary period and all, you know. Apparently they're happy with me. I exceed expectations. I am glad. (I would expand but I have not yet established how likely they are to find this and I also have not yet decided whether I prefer to be supercareful on my blog, or just not visit my blog from work at all anymore... tbc)

Oh btw did I mention my Lo is coming tomorrow??? :o Tomorrow!!! :D Is very soon!!! This time tomorrow I'll have left for Stansted and she will be airborne (lol). So yeah in case anyone missed it, Lo is coming to see me over Easter. And Easter is this weekend. So she is coming tomorrow! :D Which is very... (ok I'll stop now). :P :D :x

Don't you agree the Pope really should make up his mind now? About dying or quitting or anything really - just get it over with! Do Catholics actually believe he's the representative of God? I know they do according to their belief, but do they really? How can it matter to those people if an old man who's barely alive and clearly suffering waves to them from a window?? *sigh*

Oh and speaking of dragging things on, of course I'll have to have my say on the Terri Schiavo thing. I've not followed it all with that much attention (therefore I may be wrong in my assumptions or conclusions) but I would like to say/ask two things (just fyi & in case you didn't know: I am generally pro-euthanasia):
1. there is no written statement from Terri confirming that she did not want life-sustaining measures (and there seems to be reason enough to doubt the husband's good intentions? I am gathering this from what I've read) which is a tricky thing. Of course the patient's wishes have to be respected and in this case they seem to be based solely on the statement of the husband?
2. they are starving her to death!??! I cannot fucking believe they are starving her! I totally support Euthanasia if it makes sense (and I do believe it does in this case, objectively speaking) - but for crying out loud!!! Fucking hypocrites! Jeez, it's the same as shooting a trapped animal to put it out of its misery! Just kill her already! Grrrrrrr!!!!!!

Ok yeah well that's it. Was that update enough? I am so fucking lazy.

PS I love Michael Jackson. He is amazing, he is sexy, he is innocent and you can all go fuck yourselves. Sometimes this whole case makes me so angry I could kill them all. Most of the time I am pretty good at not thinking about it tho. But even when I don't I still love him, believe in him, and support him. I should maybe say that more often.

Queen good.

What work?

Hi Lo!

I don't understand Catholicism.

Poor woman. Euthanasia is one thing, enforced starvation is quite another... Apparently her husband put the phone to her ear, with someone she knew on the phone. She actually LEAPT out of her chair a moment later and after her husband restrained her, he got on the phone and asked what the hell the woman had said to her. She'd said, "If you don't get out of that chair, they're going to kill you."
Apparently.

I love Michael. I want to give him a hug.
