is dead.

:-(

People say...

I don't know him, never heard his name.
So he's an Israeli. What was his good side?

you haven't??
Yeah he was actually quite a conservative Israeli, but I didn't wanna put anything negative in my entry. His books are great, he's really very fun, no matter what side he was on.

I grew up with his books, I've read LOADS of them. I can't believe you haven't heard of him, he was very well known in the German-speaking world (and he lived and died in Switzerland!! In Appenzell)

Yes, I read that he lived in Switzerland. Still, never heard his name... But you know, I never really read Israeli authors, so maybe I've heard of a book of him a long time ago, but didn't read it and forgot about it again.

And Appenzell is at the end of the world, you can't call that Switzerland.
