Perbello had left a party at a night club shortly after midnight. The police are now trying to investigate whether she met with her potential murderer after this.

Perbello had stayed in Munich for a foto shooting and was meant to fly onwards to London on the following day. The fashion world is shaken: "She was such a nice person, this just cannot be true," says a well known fashion designer. Friends categorically preclude a drug-related incident: "She never touched any of that!"

The model, of brazilian origin, had been very successful for a number of years. To the general public, she was probably best known for the nude drawings of the artist Pietro Marinetti.

The motive for the murder remains a mystery to both her friends and investigators. Was Perbello the victim of a psychopath? Or is it an act of revenge? The Perbello clan is allegedly involved in drug and mafia dealings in Brazil. Consequently, the police have requested help from Rio de Janeiro.
