The coming together of things

Hi. *waves* 1.5 days of work left then 4 days off, yay! 4 days of laziness are great, even if I do hate Christmas. Alisdair’s coming for the weekend so will try to be a little less lazy then. We can go for brisk walks along the seafront. =))

When I am too lazy to launch my iTunes I listen to last.fm instead. Like now. Last.fm rocks, but for some strange reason whenever I visit the site it changes my own site’s favicon to the last.fm one (not on the actual server of course, just the bookmark). So odd.

I have a Macbook now, did you see? Still on my PC tho, I guess it’ll take some time getting used to her, and, well, desktops are more comfortable. Maybe I should have followed Tobias’ advice and bought a VGA adapter for her. Or maybe I need to get a nice sofa soon.

I have also ordered this awesome 88 colour make up palette! Am totally superexcited. 😀 Then I will magically be able to make my eyes look as pretty as JacquelineMarie’s! :]

I spoke to my mum on Saturday and she randomly mentioned that she’d found some photos I’d sent her at some point and how she particularly liked this one and how pretty I was and that she’d put it framed on her desk. :)) And also “another one with some random boy on your lap” (this one with the delectable Thomas) and “some guy you’re hugging” (random guy at Pride) and she expressed admiration for all those gorgeous guys I find. I do have great taste. :))

Sunday was Xmas event at Jana’s, we had dinner (well they did, I wasn’t feeling so great and mainly lay on the sofa) and exchanged presents. Mandy made me another amazing iPhone sock. 😡 Someone else at work asked me the other day “so when are you going to buy a proper iPhone sleeve?” and I was like “Eh?!? Why should I, the ones I have are great!!” I also got a green 😡 egg timer, and a punk duck. And homemade soap!

Oh, and also, rather amazingly, Dani (one of my oldest horsefriends) has agreed to take Karim!!!!! 😀 I am very very very happy – she always would’ve been one of my top choices for him but I never thought she would take him. So that is most marvellous! 😀 She will probably move him in early January. That will be a huge load off my mind, and it also means I can go visit him without my heart breaking because I know he’s with her. 🙂 She’s fab! 😡 This also means of course that I will save his monthly rent, which means more disposable income, or more, you know, savings for that extended trip to the US. 😀

And now I shall go to bed, but not before complaining that I have a sore throat. 😛
