Trains and planes and stuff (people!)

HELLO WORLD! Been a while! I probably have much news, except I don’t remember much of it. But I must update. I’ll keep it short tho.

– I have given up on the Etsy store in time for Xmas idea. Predictable I know.
– I tried one of Jimmy’s birthday presents. I need shorter zips.
– I deep-cleaned the flat, including dusting all exposed surfaces. Took a day and a half. It’s already starting to get dusty again.
– The headache did eventually disappear. I’ve also had two massages. They are lovely. 🙂 And I’ve been going swimming. Need to go again actually.

Other than that: I went for breakfast in Ditchling with Jeff. This was most exciting, because he taught me about the Clayton Tunnel, which triggered a mild train obsession in me for a while. I learnt many new things, and I finally figured out where the disused Kemp Town station used to be (Freshfield Industrial Estate!).

Yes, and theeeen I had a visit from Ange. She was only here for two nights and one day, but we had an amaaaaazing time! We watched a lot of Simon Amstell, did a lot of shopping (see fruity skirt), some geocaching, a bit of sightseeing, and a lot of chatting. And then she left. :((

But a mere two days later I had a visit from squiZZ! The first day he drank a lot and became a bit cuntish, which rekindled my paranoia, which he of course greatly enjoyed. The second day we went to Southampton for Ikea and tourism, but it was cold so we only did Ikea. I bought a shelf. The third day we put up the shelf. That was pretty much it, tho he also helped me rotate my mattress and explained my taxes. 😀 And of course the usual endless video watching and bickering. *lol*

Now I have no one until Cindy comes, so hopefully I will get stuff done. You know, the usual. I did find a fun Spanish app so am currently learning Spanish, tho already getting bored of it. :)) But I’ll try to stick with it (and then move on to Norwegian, yes yes). I also found an extremely fun flight-tracking app and am currently very obsessed with it (and was when squiZZ was here too, which annoyed him greatly :)) ).

Speaking of planes, I have also finally booked my flight to NYC: 6-15 June. Wheeee!!! 😡 😀 I haven’t heard back from my accommodation again tho and am mildly worried. I’d like to stay with them again. Might have to email again. Next week. No rush. Maybe they’re upstate.
